muggo11 Posted April 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Just returned from a comped 3-night stay at the Palazzo in Las Vegas to a NEW offer. A 3-night stay at the Venetian or Palazzo that came with a free interior cabin for a Princess cruise, Jumped on this. So now, I will have two free cruise certificates to use in 2017 as the casino on Emerald gave me one the day we disembarked a couple of weeks ago. New goal: pay nothing for cabins in 2017! muggo11 Posted April 3, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted April 3, 2016 Are you Gold or Plat with Ven/Palz? Interestingly enough, I haven't even hit gold yet. Most of my play is BJ so don't rack up huge points on the Grazie card. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted April 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2016 Thanks for the headsup muggo. I contacted my host at V/P to find out WHY I didn't receive this email. I've been Gold for years, and complained last visit that my offers have been getting lame...... This was the clincher! Yeah its probably a fishing offer to get past players Back. But, I'm already There, and want it too!

So going again last weekend in June. Good luck. Hope your casino host comes through for you. I have absolutely no idea what thresholds or theoretical play gets you what level of offers. I play for entertainment (and stress relief) so the perks are always an unexpected gift! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

dznymom Posted April 9, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 9, 2016 I've been gold for a few years at Venetian/Palazzo and this is the first time I have received this offer, although I have friends that received it in the past. So I will also be there in June to pick it up even though I just got home from the Palazzo 2 days ago:rolleyes: Unlike most of the offers I get from casinos, this one includes the opportunity to improve the offer (upgrading stateroom or cruise length) depending on how many points I earn during my stay at Palazzo. I've cruised most mainstream lines, but never Princess so I am looking forward to giving them a try. Free(ish) is good!

IF you get back to this thread, (or muggo?) could you please share WHAT is the number of Tier points needed during your stay V/P, to upgrade cabins? Host got me on the offer, but I don't have the mailing details. Thanks! (FYI- this is second comp Princess cruise offer from a casino for me. Last one for Princess was Stations, LV. Usually I get NCL thru CET.) Seems we got cruise offers up the wazoo! But I wanted the Princess offer again. I must say, I LIKED the Princess service alittle better. Ships are longer in the tooth than most NCL ships.....but seemed a better quality experience. I also LIKED that Music ISN'T in every hallway & corner of the ship. (told the Capt. that fact too. He didn't seem to realize the difference, but it was a big difference to us. You can actually enjoy the peacefulness more. We liked it better! ;)
muggo11 Posted April 24, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted April 24, 2016 Calluvs, Language re: theoretical casino play needed for upgrade from 7-day interior on my Sands offer: $1515 up to 15 day cruise $1900 ocean view cabin $2370 balcony $2965 mini-suite I have no clue about the math that gets to those numbers! dznymom Posted May 5, 2016 #14 Share Posted May 5, 2016 Sorry I didn't see your question earlier, but I have the mailer and it gives me the upgrade info in points, not theo (which I prefer not to think about - haha). I imagine people got different base offers, but this is what I have. Your complimentary Cruise Offer Includes: Complimentary interior cabin on princess Cruises' Caribbean, Coastal and Mexico sailings, ranging from 3 days to 7 days in duration As one of our most valued guests, we're also giving you the chance to upgrade your complimentary cruise, based on your casino play during your trip: 10,950 slot reward points = up to 15 day cruise duration 13,690 = Ocean View cabin 17,110 = Balcony cabin 21,390 = Mini-Suite **************************************** I am really looking forward to the Vegas trip, and to trying out Princess! This is a win-win for me. I am curious about the differences between Princess (and how they treat casino guests) and NCL, who I cruise frequently, and HAL, who I just took advantage of a great casino offer from. dznymom Posted May 5, 2016 #15 Share Posted May 5, 2016 FWIW, a couple of other folks I know got the offer, and their's were different. They started out being comped Ocean views, but their requirements to upgrade are much (much) higher than mine. They also play at a significantly higher level than I do! THANKS for Update. Not sure Which of those offers my host set me up for? I'm guessing Inside. I almost Always get Inside with NCL. Like I mentioned, I was hoping to get Another Princess offer. I really LIKE the Calif. Coastal cruise out of SF, No airfare needed for us. NCL doesn't do those. I also like the Service on Princess. I would say its a step Above NCL. I'm going to pickup the Princess voucher at Palz early June. Good luck all. dznymom Posted June 23, 2016 #17 Share Posted June 23, 2016 I returned from my Vegas trip a small winner, but I booked my cruise and feel like a Big Winner now! This turned out to be a great offer!
muggo11 Posted July 1, 2016 Author #18 Share Posted July 1, 2016 Got back from the Sands with my gift certificate Monday. Only table games counted towards an upgrade to a balcony and I didn't quite meet the threshold which would have been about 15 hours of BJ averaging $100 a hand. So interior it is. Immediately called the number on certificate, cancelled my spring caribbean booking on Regal and rebooked with the highest priced mid-ship interior available. The cost if I'd purchased? $2000. Only paid $240 in port fees In other good news, i was a net winner at the Sands this weekend, bringing home a couple grand. So, free room plus free cruise plus winning trip? Great promotion in my book! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
