SoccerMom#3 Posted April 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2016 And do they have shuttles? This one: The one in Hollywood http://www.lq.com/en/findandbook/dynamic-pages/hotel-details.0985.address.html?cid=EMCFNAME&IATA=99020582 We stayed there in January before our cruise. It was perfect. They do have a shuttle to and from FLL and the Port. Sign up for the shuttle to the port as soon as you get to the hotel. That way you can get the time you want. SoccerMom#3 Posted April 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2016 (edited) Is the shuttle free No, I think it is $8 or $10 per person to the port. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel is free. Edited April 9, 2016 by SoccerMom#

Was just wondering as there will be 3 of us and a cab may be faster and cheaper
fishywood Posted April 10, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 10, 2016 With tip the taxi will be $30-35. Or considerably more if caught in traffic. But the taxi will take you directly to your ship rather than potentially being the last of several ships the shared shuttle stops at. For three I would definitely skip the shuttle. CruiserBruce Posted April 10, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 10, 2016 Conversely, the meter on the taxi is running while you may have to sit in line at the gate. The fare on the shuttle doesn't change.
cpayne Posted April 13, 2016 #10 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Are there any FLL hotels that provide FREE cruise ship shuttle anymore? Been a few yrs since we sailed from FLL, but the last place we stayed provided a free port shuttle. Of course I can't remember which property this was. Husband travels so much for work that hotels all become a blur! Thanks.
