For those of you embarking the Royal or Regal this week, I would love to see as many pictures of the buffet food as possible including the salad bar. I'm only asking from those that enjoy taking food pics as part of their cruise.:):):)

I'll be traveling with a couple of people on the Regal that might want to primarily eat in the buffet so want to give them an idea of what to expect. This will be my first Regal cruise so I only have Grand Class buffet experiences to share.

Thanks in advance for anyone who might want to help out.:D:D:D

Hope these pictures help.

How did you get photos with basically NO ONE in the Horizon Court.

Impressive. :)

I will try to get some pics of salad bar, and by the way, it is the most awesome salad bar, much better than Celebrity's Solstice class, I might add. The little salad bars on Grand class are sufficient, but the salad bar on the Regal is over the top

The quality and variety is so great that we skipped the DR for all meals except formal night and we seldom eat in the HC on most cruises.

You must have taken these pictures at 6:00 am there no one there.

Tony

There are filters one can use to make it seem like there in no one there. Not sure if it would work on board a ship using a tripod due to the vibrations though.

Just a hint we found useful scout the different areas and get cold foods first then hot or your food will be all cold by the time you sit. If you have a choice you can find a seat and swap off going for hot items. This area is large and does get hectic at peak times.

Pictures are great. Of 33 cruises, this was the best buffet set up ever on the Royal. The Bistro section (white walls & furniture) has the Pastry aisle so don't miss it. There are at least 2 stations for freshly made omelets, fresh fried eggs each morning with no wait, fruit is in the small in between walk-ways and hand carved meats are delicious. We really enjoyed breakfast & late lunch in the Horizon buffet daily. Servers bring your beverages and tables are set with place settings. Very convenient.

Someone did up close pictures of the food on Regal, buffet area and it was called the uncruise review, food porn edition. I found it on Page 3. Awesome close up pics of the buffet. Can't wait for my 4/17 cruise! :D
