March 11, 2017 Caribbean Princess Southern Cruise

Still a long way away but getting so excited. We are booked on the Caribbean Princess for the 8 day Southern out of Fort Lauderdale. We have R234 booked. We prefer the Lido deck but it was all booked. Can anyone let me know how the Riviera deck is and specifically, this cabin??

This cabin should be fine. It is a balcony cat. cabin with a full 6 foot closet, wardrobe cabinet with shelves and a room safe, drawers in the desk and night stands, a desk, fridge and two chairs. The balcony is 9'x5' and fully covered by cabins above on the Lido deck. There are cabins above and below you so no noise. It is easy access to the upper deck public areas. Realize that when sailing time approaches it is possible that Princess may upgrade you to a higher cat. cabin. It does happen at times.

 

The photo on the on line deck plans is accurate. The diagram is not accurate. It shows a small closet. You will have a full 6 ft. closet in the same area.

Thank you so much for the reply. With 90% booked and 11 months to go.. bet there won't be any upgrades.. but that is ok.. Love being at the front of the ship and high up.

There will be dropouts as final payment approaches, no worries..

Hope so. This will be our 5th cruise but never offered an upgrade. How do you know if you should take it. Balcony right now.... what should we bite on if offered?? Any advice?
