Is This a good price for Oasis of the seas?

Hi Everyone, I'm not a frequent cruiser, but I do it every two years or so. Our last cruise was 2 years ago and I loved it. Had an outside forward cabin on the oasis of the seas overlooking the helipad. There is an offer now with bogo and prepaid gratuities, also my husband is in Law Enforcement, and on top of that I received an offer from Club Royale. Okay. that was long.

Here is my question. DH and I want to cruise again for our 10 year anniversary in July. Is $1504 a good price for two people in a forward facing outside cabin with gratuities included for a 7 day caribbean cruise. It sounds good to me, I've compared land based vacations and for the money you just can't get all of the perks of a cruise. I need validation from you experts, lol.

Thanks much for any replies.

I think it's an excellent price for a summer cruise.

Wow, I already received three replies. Thank you all so much! I love this community! Pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger today. :)

At the very least, try to put the cruise on hold so you freeze the price.

If that is an outside balcony and $1500 includes both of you, I think it's an awsome price. If it's per person, not so much.

Linda

As stated above, it is an outside, non-balcony, and the price is for two. :)

Otherwise, sounds like a great price to me!

That's a great price! I just tested out the pricing on allure and the cheapest I can come up with for per person is 1121.18 including taxes and fees and that is an interior room for an Aug 16 cruise. The difference must be because of Club Royale?.

For this price for two, with grats incl, could it be that the OP means forward facing OV looking over the helipad? Still a good price.

OP, are you still looking at this post you started? Please post your cabin#

Hi, I'm still looking and went ahead and booked. I booked Cabin 11106 (outside, no balcony) for altogether charge of $1504 gratuities included (2 people). I had to call the "casino" reservation line and basically got a fl resident rate, minus $500 casino promo, and I still got the on board gratuity credit of $190.00 I feel good about this rate although I'm always looking to save more $$.

So..I just got the e-mail confirmation after I booked that two of my ports have the Zika warning. ARGH. I guess I've been living under a rock.

Ah, not a balcony cabin.

Still a great price and a pretty cool room & view. I stayed in one of these forward facing cabins on Navigator a couple of years ago and really loved it!

Have a great cruise :D
