Newcastle Brown Ale ..

Recommended Posts

Can you get it on Royal Caribbean ships?

I know not everyone will have heard of this drink, its huge in my home town here in the UK (Newcastle), and I know that it did make its way to the US.

The reason I ask is ... on a recent vision of the seas sailing I swear I saw a bottle on the shelf behind the bar. I was gonna ask the bar staff but they were mega busy and I never got the chance, then I forget.

It's been bugging me ever since I got home.

Had it on Freedom last summer:

The first homebrew I ever made was a Brown Ale and I did a blind taste test comparing my homebrew vs. Newcastle (what I considered to be the best Brown Ale available). My homebrew won. :D

Just because things are on the menu does not mean they have it.

They "were out" of quite a few beers on my last 2 cruises, including Newcastle.

Plenty of wines were also unavailable...

Would all of these beers available at the pub be included with the premium drink package? Thanks!

They would be available in the Select, Premium, and Ultimate packages.

Ha Ha.

That's a disgrace, its meant to be in a huuuuge bottle.

I also read that the recipe was tampered with slightly for the US market so looking forward to giving it a shot.

They carry the big bottles at our grocery in Florida. They also carry the mini kegs on occasion. If it's different, I like the American version
