jabberjaw070596 Posted May 16, 2016 #451 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Was watching the Galveston Cruise Cam this morning. It's interesting watching the tugs move the ship, then dock, etc. Someone was escorted off the ship in handcuffs. Thank You for posting this! SoCalMusicLover Posted May 16, 2016 #456 Share Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) Could be unrelated though! Someone probably got busted for something totally unrelated, that perhaps was discovered during the room by room search. If it was something relatively minor, that's a bummer for them. TxChick Posted May 16, 2016 #459 Share Posted May 16, 2016 My friends just got off and said no truth to the knife and the "blood" stain was a mixed drink.

Yeah, that was obviously someone trying to get their 15 minutes of social media fame.
oldvato Posted May 16, 2016 #461 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Exactly. I would never be outside alone at 2 am on a girls trip. Not on a ship, not on land. Why did the other girls leave her and go to bed? What was she doing? Either way, passing judgement is no good. She made a horrible decision and paid the ultimate price. I would think that she was bunking with some of her friends. LIke you, I'm wondering what she was doing. What were her friends thinking that they waited til noon to report her missing? Maybe they thought she'd eventually show up. Like you, I think that passing judgement is not good.
TxChick Posted May 16, 2016 #462 Share Posted May 16, 2016 And I don't know how to put a picture but she stepped on a light or speaker to get up there, it took effort to hoist herself, and the object was broke in the picture
Rare cml4958 Posted May 16, 2016 #463 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Maybe they should just make the railings electrified to keep people from climbing on them. [emoji15] I agree...no one will get near them. :D 181 days till the next cruise. Hope this doesn't happen then. :) Hope for your sake it doesn't happen again either. Best wishes for your next cruise!:) Carrie

I said the same thing. I'm assuming her friends were sleeping it off and realized she was missing. I'd hate to think she had hooked up w someone. elliair Posted May 16, 2016 #466 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Carnival has a problem, this is not the first person to go overboard sailing out of Galveston! There's plenty of suicides to go around on EVERY cruiseline, accidents too. http://www.cruiseshipdeaths.com/
beerman2 Posted May 16, 2016 #467 Share Posted May 16, 2016 That may not be an accurate way to determine how much she may have been drinking. She may have had alcohol in her room from Bon Voyage or smuggled booze. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk They will know for that day and also if alcohol was purchased from Bon Voyage. As far as smuggling booze on your are correct that isn't known . But 2 out of 3 ain't bad!
elliair Posted May 17, 2016 #468 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I'll see if this works, it says attached Looking at that pic, she had to be somewhat limber to get herself up there. No way could I get myself up there or even turn my back to the sea. If she was drunk, I think she lost her balance. But I'm thinking if she were drunk how did she get herself up there?
Sewingmama Posted May 17, 2016 #469 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Sounds like the two friends with her went to bed and she stayed out. Aparantly she climbed on the railing, sitting on the rail and fell in backwards. There was many hours of drinking that day. I think it was a tragic case of drunken misjudgment that cost her life. Rare LMaxwell Posted May 17, 2016 #470 Share Posted May 17, 2016 It's not on people but on a banned site Is it Facebook? Because Facebook is not banned here. You can mention Facebook. What you can't do is direct towards advertising on facebook for T/A's or groups. You can even reference Cruise Critic or John Healds Facebook, no problem. So for those of us interested can you name or link?

There's no accurate way at this point to determine if she was intoxicated at all. She may not have been.

I'm sure she stepped on the light thing, then kneeled on the white rail and then hoisted herself up.
BallFour4 Posted May 17, 2016 #473 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Someone was escorted off the ship in handcuffs. You'd be amazed how often that happens, regardless of ship or cruise line. It's not uncommon for an ambulance and/or police car to meet the ship. . Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Rare LMaxwell Posted May 17, 2016 #474 Share Posted May 17, 2016 saying you're happy with a price increase to obtain a system they you think carnival should have knowing full well that if your price goes up so does everyone else's is pretty dumb as well. or else you're happy sticking it to everyone else so that you can get what you want out of life. personally, i'm not happy paying for someone else's irresponsibility. We're all paying for air scrubbers to be retrofitted in the smoking casinos when some of us will still avoid casinos where smoking is allowed. Haven't heard complaints about that. GetYourShineOn Posted May 17, 2016 #475 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I still see nothing on anyone getting escorted by handcuffs. I Googled handcuffs and Carnival and the first thing that pops up this is this form. Im giving up.
