Get drunk at the airport.

Or you could go with the suggestion above in post #2. Which may be better, depending on the demographic of your group.

I think by that point my liver will be shot and I need to start detoxing!

Book a post cruise excursion with NCL. They manage your luggage and get you to the airport.

Not sure I want an Everglades tour. Do they have other options? Thanks for your reply

We rented a car for the day from National Car Rental at MIA. We were actually flying out of Ft Lauderdale, but you can return to that airport without a "drop off" fee.

National has a large bus that picks you up outside the terminal and takes you to the rental counter. We had to show a copy of our rental reservation in order to get on the bus. The bus is large enough for all your luggage.

We then traveled down the Florida Keys just to see some of the over-water highway, stopped in Islamorada at a few touristy places and saw quite a bit of wildlife, headed back up and had lunch and still made our 4 PM flight in plenty of time in Ft. Lauderdale ... which is about 25 - 40 minutes away from MIA.

A SUV will cost you about $200 for a Saturday in July. It's a great option.
