Same day, POM to Port Everglades

Cruising into POM and cruising out of Port Everglades, same day. What is the best option to get to Fort Lauderdale pier? If car rental, which ones are closest to POM?

No need to rent a car. Very common recommendation here is shuttles. Taxi is second, more expensive option.

Or I would use Uber.

 

Jump in an Uber to Las Olas, have a nice long brunch then a late boarding.

 

Call Uber when you are done then head to the ship.

Taxi from port to port will run about $75-80 on the meter; Uber port to port should be under $50 unless surge pricing is in effect. Most of the shuttles will take you to the FLL airport for about $15 -- from there either use the same shuttle to get to PE or hop into a cab for about $15

 

I like Blue's suggestion but some restaurants may not have room to store your bags while you eat/drink. :(
