Ketchikan Docking

We are on the Coral Princess 9th July cruise and will be in Ketchikan on the 11th from 6.30am-2.00pm. Just wondered, if we are tendered, what time they may allow passengers to start leaving the ship?

As soon as they are set up. If you actually arrive at 6:30, the first pax will be on the tender by around 6:45ish. But it takes a bit of time to load a tender.

As a long time cruiser, you will also maybe encounter, people leaving the ship, prior to it even being announced. So, it can be of benefit to up and ready to go, earlier than the posted time. This has been my continued experience with tenders. Especially useful, if you don't have a line cutting status.

According to the berthing schedule the Coral should be tying up at berth 4 which is the newer most northerly pier.

Many thanks for the very helpful replies :D. We have a private trip organised and are being met at 8.15am. Wanted to be prepared should we be tendered, so it's good to know we will be docked.

We were there the day after the accident and had no problems docking at another pier.

Thanks for the information, evidently it was the Infinity that smacked pier 3. However, according to news reports repairs are underway and are estimated to be completed by July 3, in the meantime I am sure berthing assignments have been impacted.
