Rare 57eric Posted June 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2016 Can you do the Coco Cay nature walk on your own, or is it only open to excursion groups? Thanks.

cb at sea Posted June 29, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2016 No need for ANY "excursions" on Coco Cay....unless you want to do a watersport....
Jarmo Posted June 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 29, 2016 I recommend doing it on the earlier side. Our crew did it mid/late afternoon, it was pretty darn hot.
north29 Posted June 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 29, 2016 But be prepared to have some rough areas but you can always take the road. Good news, LOL, will if you are open minded, you might run into some Nudist at certain more private beaches.
Rare island lady Posted June 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 29, 2016 We do the nature walk every time we go there. It is the highlight of our time in Coco Cay, as we can get away from the noise and crowds for some time on our own. The end of the trail is indeed rough rocks, but easily done with a good pair of walking shoes. We walk the beach on the far side, then don sneakers and socks from our back packs to walk the end half of the trail. Takes you up to the point, and a nice view over the water with the ship in the background on the upper point. No charge. Enjoy! :)
Cruisebee1 Posted June 29, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 29, 2016 My last trip I did the guided walk and while you could do it on your own, I don't know if you'd get as much information as we received about not only the island but the people who work and live there. I found it to be worth the money :)
