We have a classic drinks package included on our cruise next March but it will be our 25th Wedding anniversay whilst on the cruise

Do Celebrity allow you to bring a bottle of champagne on at embarkation ?(Princess allow 2 bottles wine/champagne on embarkation to consume in the cabin)

Yes, 2 bottles of wine/champagne (not liquor) per cabin.

I will pick up a bottle or two then , we live in South of France so can pick up champagne at very reasonable prices compared to shops , ships etc

They do charge $25 per bottle corkage if you take it to a bar or restaurant, no fee if you enjoy it in your stateroom. Your stateroom attendant will bring and ice bucket and glasses for you, ask in the morning and it will be chilled for you to enjoy that afternoon or evening.

Or, you can put it in a glass, then no corkage, but you will not be able to bring the bottle with you.

Thank you for all your replies , good idea , will have a few glasses in the cabin and take the last glass out with us ;)

Guests wishing to bring personal wine onboard with them at the beginning of the cruise may do so, limited to two (2) 750 ml bottles per stateroom. When consumed in any shipboard restaurant, bar or dining venue, each bottle shall be subject to a corkage fee of $25.00.
