Quick question: I bought Cruise Cash Bar cards. How do they work? Are the funds added "on board credit" and I can use it for anything... or is it restricted to be used for alcohol only?

Also, to clarify as some get confused, if you purchase the Cruise Cash and you cancel your cruise, you will get the money back. It is non refundable if you go on the cruise and do not use all of it. I purchased the Cruise Cash (not specific to bar, casino, or photos), and loved it. I put a little bit aside each paycheck and purchased it, and it was on my sign & sail account as soon as I got on the ship!

Better to purchase funds that can be used for ANYTHING...don't restrict yourself to alcohol!

No, it is not restricted to alcohol, it includes alcoholic drinks, juice, soda, water, and coffee shop charges. Basically anything you want to drink on a ship.

I like the specification. But since I tend to get sea sick and need medication to control it, it's nice to know I won't lose my money if I can't drink alcohol.
