icat2000 Posted July 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2016 Been looking for Easter cruise to do that doesn't burn up to many leave days. Celebrity cruise on Solstice for 7 days leaving 16 April visiting Noumea and Lifou seems to fit the dates. There seems to be slim pickings for short cruises at Easter time. Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted July 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) There is a separate dining room for suite guests - it's a completely closed off section of the lower level of the MDR, on deck 3. From what I've read it has a different menu but you can also order MDR menu items. You also have access to Michael's Bar, next to Murano on deck 7. I think suite guests are also invited to the Elite happy hour which is usually held in one side of the Sky Lounge on deck 14. Great views from up there. I presume you also get priority boarding. Have a trawl though the Celebrity forum, there is always someone talking about suite benefits there. ;) Edited July 20, 2016 by OzKiwiJJ

The_Big_M Posted July 20, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 20, 2016 First off you get a better cabin; they're the first grade with baths, plus you get more space, plus you get a butler. The main extra facilities are the dining room Luminae, which offers a different and I would say substantially better menu and service (closer to how dining used to be on Celebrity 10 years ago), and the club (more appealing to some rather than others). When the last two were added, suite prices rose to accommodate these extras. Lots of other little benefits but I'd say the above are the most significant. sonia2509 Posted July 20, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 20, 2016 The prices were less a few months ago when I booked. I booked Concierge C3 with automatic upgrade to C2 as we're have cruised with Celebrity previously, 2 perks and $300 obc, for $1750 per person. We will upgrade and pay the premium drinks package and use the obc for dinner at Tuscan Grille and Murano and the balance to Internet. Celebrity is our preferred ship, and the suite will be fantastic due to all the extras. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

Rare MicCanberra Posted July 20, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 20, 2016 X is my favourite cruise line and the Solstice is my favourite ship. If you find a good price that has at least two of the perks, then go for it. a suite gets all 4 perks and more so even better if you can find a price that suits your budget. The_Big_M Posted July 20, 2016 #12 Share Posted July 20, 2016 The above benefits don't apply to a C3 or C2- they're concierge class. The suite benefits apply for Sky suites and above.

Rare Sparky74 Posted July 20, 2016 #15 Share Posted July 20, 2016 Don't forget that if you are a member of RCI's Crown & Anchor Society you get reciprocal benefits in Celebrity's Captain's Club. You must join the Captain's Club (prior to boarding) and give them your C&A number.

In the pricing, they charged extra for the beverage package and wifi and then gave a credit to offset it. The pricing then shows the credit for gratuities (so that's deducted from your bill) but the gratuities themselves aren't charged, so it's likely they will still get added on board since they haven't been paid.
