quickrate Posted July 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 22, 2016 Vista can't be Oct. 8th as that would be the middle of one cruise and the next one starts Oct. 11th Pat
winddawn Posted July 22, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 22, 2016 Just noticed a new one on the Vista in Oct but can't see any other ones. Does anyone have any other ones listed? Thanks I have trouble viewing mine as well. I hate Carnival's new search feature. It just doesn't work most of the time. I can only see one of my premier cruises too, but if I look at the other cruises individually by using LaCal's list in the previous post, I can see the offer is there for the other ships and dates. The calendar that shows prices for dates will not let me change to the next month. When I click the arrow to try to go to the next month, it does nothing. And there is no option to clear/reset the filter options. It defaults to the first ship/sail date on the calendar and then I can't clear that out to see all the other premier ships/dates. If it weren't for the kind people here on CC sharing the information, I'd have no way of know of seeing what is available to me until the offer comes in snail mail 3 weeks later when most of the ships/date are already gone. Carnival continues to need major help with it's website.

maldenmusic Posted July 22, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 22, 2016 It seems as though Carnival could afford to have a website that works at least most of the time. :rolleyes:I have problems with it at least weekly no matter what device I'm viewing it on. Me too, maldenmusic. PC, smartphone, laptop, tablet--I encounter the same problems with Carnival's search feature on all 4 of them. I don't know how they expect to maximize profits when their website won't work.

winddawn Posted July 23, 2016 #15 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Do you know what it takes to be offered a premier cruise? Is it a certain VIFP level? Certain amount spent in the casino? The premier offers seem to be pretty liberal. A lot of players get these offers that do not get many other casino offers. Carnival doesn't publicize how they make casino offers, but time and money spent in the casino certainly play a role. But I think if you play in the ship casinos you stand a good chance of receiving one. Check your VIFP offers on Carnival's website after logging in or entering your VIFP number. The offers appear there first, and then about 3 weeks or so later an envelope with the same information will arrive in snail mail. The snail mail brochure will tell you how much casino cash goes with the offer, but the website will not.
evandbob Posted July 23, 2016 #16 Share Posted July 23, 2016 I was already booked on the Vista Nov 16 and called the casino # yesterday to see if I could benefit a change to a casino fare. They informed me I only qualified for a PC3 or PC4 rate, which wasn't being honored for the cruise (as noted by LaCal above). I already have a 14 day cruise booked for January, so those dates can't work with my schedule. If they come out with casino fares for February and March, I won't even know about it as I'll be in Australia, New Zealand and the Cook Islands. I have a feeling I may get dropped from even the lower eligibility ranks for casino fares!

mishka422 Posted August 2, 2016 #18 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Could someone tell me what the differences are between the PC3 and PC4 etc rate codes? I assume it's just the amount of casino cash offered but would love clarification. I had a premier offer that expired mid July but another one showed up with a last day to book in September for cruises through January. I've never done one before but should be fun. Haven't received the mailer yet and I hope it doesn't get lost (I assume you still have to take it with and present it at the cage for the casino cash?) since I just moved and everything is being forwarded......hopefully.....
