MattInFLL Posted August 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2016 So where is that fenced off area? Is it like off to the right somewhere when you get off the tender? That always seems to be the only "undeveloped" area.

prekteacher Posted August 2, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Wow! Looks really neat. Haven't been there since 2009. I think I need to find a cruise to go back there!
whyrlygig Posted August 2, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) How deep was the water by the floating/swim up bar? That looks pretty cool! Edited August 2, 2016 by whyrlygig
FLcruisergrl Posted August 2, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 2, 2016 So where is that fenced off area? Is it like off to the right somewhere when you get off the tender? That always seems to be the only "undeveloped" area. It looks like the cove after the first main cove. I hear they are putting over water cabanas?! Makes me a little sad because we spent our day in that little cove in June.
north29 Posted August 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 2, 2016 All new stuff is Tropical Storm proof "right" Some of it might make good flotsam to to fish under in the gulf stream. I will have to admit it will be a great improvement.
CRUISEBOY305 Posted August 2, 2016 #12 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Was in Coco Cay this weekend on Empress. The Floating Bar was a nice surprise.
Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted August 2, 2016 #13 Share Posted August 2, 2016 We were in Coco Cay last week and missed the floating bar. I wish they had announced this or had a sign. We sat right beside the fenced off area. It is on the right on the Blackbeard's beach area. There is a big group of palm trees right there. CruiseNAngie Posted August 2, 2016 Author #19 Share Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) When we were there the tide was out ... here is a pic showing the bar from the shore. When we went out to the bar, the water at the step was a little above my waist. When we got off the bar, I stepped off the ladder and the water went just below my shoulders ... HOPE THAT HELPS Edited August 2, 2016 by CruiseNAngie
cruisegirl1 Posted August 2, 2016 #20 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Thanks for the info, photos and map. Many folks never venture towards the back area and can easily miss the bar and new additions. The additions look terrific M
