Does anyone know the pier Allure usually docks at in Cozumel? Looking forward to lunch at Jeannie's and wondering if it is close enough to walk (across from Margaritaville)...

Allure docks at the International Pier. About a 7 minute cab ride from the pier to Margaritaville / Jeanies.

It's a nice walk from the International pier to Margaritaville, about 40 minutes for us. We love this walk to the downtown area, when it is not too hot. The walk is level all the way.

In May, we walked from the Allure to Margaritiville. It is do-able with caveats. It is about a 2 mile walk (I pre-measured it)

 

While we were there in late may it was hot and humid

 

I regularly do 10K walks here in Florida during the middle summer, so made sure I brought along water.

 

If you are not used to walking and it is hot and humid, perhaps a taxi may be in order. However if you are reasonably fit and the temperatures/humidity are tolerable, I say go for the walk.

It is maybe a little over 2 miles. Why does a 7 minute cab ride even in traffic rate a "LOL"?
