Royal's St. Thomas dock?

None of those in Florida? ;)

I've gotten to the point to where the ship is the destination more so than the points along the itinerary. My next cruise (now booked) is all about the ship, even though the destination is "5 Star" for beaches. And shopping. And golf. And sailing. I'm having a hard time even figuring out what I'm going to do while the ship is docked, but no doubt I'll be window shopping. And napping on my balcony. Among other things.

As the old saying goes, a cruise is better than any day at the office.

:D

Hi Dave!

It's so good to 'see' you here and to see that you're cruising again.

I totally agree with the ship being the destination. I was on a TA last Sept/Oct and because I had been to most of the ports before, I stayed onboard and enjoyed having the ship (mostly) to myself.

Take care,

Interesting recent thread from the RCI Forum on Crown Bay, with lots of opinions on which is better.

At the most, 2 ships can call on crown bay. It certainly seems

like it will be overcrowded with Carnival Corp + Royal Carribbean.

And, at least last year, Grand Class (and now Royal Class) could

only dock on the south side of the pier due to water depth on the

north side.

(So maximum of 1 grand class ship at crown bay)

But, they were supposed to dredge...

Personally, I think it would be nice if another company took a

turn at crown bay.

In the words of a smarmy headwaiter -- enjoy!

Hi Ramah,

By the looks of it your cruise calendar is full. I'm all "peanut butter and jealous" of your Majestic Princess booking! Wow! Take lots of pictures!

On Week 1 of my B2B we were docked at Crown Bay with Carnival Glory. Not sure how often this happens, with two larger ships at this facility, but it was a bit crowded coming and going...

There were also three ships at Havensight that day...
