jabrown40 Posted August 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2016 On our next cruise, we will be in Puerto Rico during the evening hours. (We have been there in the past.) We considered dining in one of the restaurants, but decided just to sightsee a little, maybe have a couple of drinks with an appetizer, then have a late dinner in Luminae. However, since we're still in port, will they be open for dinner? Does anyone know how late they remain available?
TeaBag Posted August 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2016 Dinner in Luminae is 6 - 9:30PM.
CHEZMARYLOU Posted August 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2016 Yes, they will be open for dinner every evening. It's just lunch that they do not serve on port days.

wrk2cruise Posted August 16, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 16, 2016 This just raised the question about overnight stops with me. Our next cruise on Equinox has an overnight at one of the islands. I assume Luminae will be open for dinner on this night as well?
CocoCronut Posted August 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 16, 2016 Luminae is open every night on board for dinner. Even on port nights. The only closures so far are related to lunch times.
CHEZMARYLOU Posted August 16, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 16, 2016 We've done 2 cruises with overnights and Luminae is open for dinner on every night, doesn't matter if the ship is in port or not. It is also open for breakfast every day, including disembarkation day. And, open for lunch on embarkation day and sea days.
philpcruiser Posted August 16, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 16, 2016 When did Luminae stop their lunch service? Is this fleet-wide? Does this policy apply to all itineraries? I ask this last question because we are booked on a 10 night cruise with only one sea day next year. Sorry, but we loved eating lunch there. jabrown40 Posted August 16, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted August 16, 2016 We had a terrible dinner in Tuscan Grille, kind of leery about paying for another visit. It was on the Silhouette. Since we haven't tried Luminae, we'll see how that goes. We also have an excursion with the chef in St Maarten, with dinner that evening. Keeping my fingers crossed Luminae will be a great experience.
