On the Koningsdam they had these in the Neptune Lounge each day. I didn't look elsewhere for them but would have to think they also have them in guest service desk area.

Just returned from the Koningsdam Sunday. They were also near the service desk and near the coffee bar/games area in the crow's nest.

There's even different versions of the daily news; Canadian, British, Australian, Dutch, German, Spanish................. ;)

I am glad HAL hasn't tossed these papers!

I love working my way through the different languages (except Dutch, which is impossible!!).

But no New Zealand version,......... we sit in the Neptune Lounge and read the Australian, English and Canadian versions.

Niet een makkelijke taal ***** te leren. Duurt wat tijd met een beetje oefenen / Not an easy language to learn. Takes a little practice ;)

Voor sommigen moeilijk, anderen is het gewoon aangeboren 😊 For some people it is, for others it comes naturally 😊

I just got off the Maasdam and they had the papers every day.

Gosh, I don't know what I'd do if they quit printing them. I enjoy reading them while I eat breakfast, or sitting in the theatre waiting for the show to begin, in the evening.

"a little practice"?!

Yes, that would be it! You notice in N. America not many schools/universities teach Dutch. Too bad, I think.

In our experience the digests are available in the MDR, at the front desk, in the Lido and sometimes in the library. In addition, you have access to the entire NYTimes paper's content for free via the internet. (no plan required). While it takes a little while to download articles with pictures, you get much more than the digest. Just act with your Ipad or other device like you're logging in to an internet plan, but choose NYTimes without logging in.
