Linking Reservations

Our friends will be on the same RCI cruise as us this fall. We both booked through our personal TA's. How can I link our reservations so that we get assigned to the same dining table? We all have Early Confirmed.

Get your friend's cruise reservation number, then call RCCL and ask them to link their number to yours for dining. It's very simple to do! Once onboard, go to the Maitre'd that afternoon and double check this has been done for table assignments. Usually it is all taken care of, but double checking is always a good idea.

You call your TA with your friend's booking confirmation number and ask to be linked. Your friends also need to call their TA with your booking number and ask to be linked.

That's what we did several years. Friends didn't live in our state.

But we still contacted each other -- gave each other our confirmation numbers -- our TA's called the cruise line and everything was taken care of.

All four of us even ended up by window table.

A few years ago the Wife invited all of her Family to go along with us on a Cruise to Alaska.

 

Two of us went through TA's. Her brother went through Costco. We collected their reservations numbers and gave it to our TA. She connected them with RCI and we had a table to ourselves.

If you didn't book thru a TA, you SHOULD be able to call RCI yourself and request the linking by providing both booking numbers. They may or may not require the other party to also call and confirm that they are agreeable.

I cruise with Princess, book directly, and have never had a problem with getting them to do it.
