Trident Grill, Pizza and Ice Cream open in Alaska?

No actual experience (our first Alaska isn't until 2018), but from previous threads/reports the only thing you can't do in port is wash clothes (some ports) and eat in the MDR for lunch (all ships, all ports, most of the time).

 

Oh, and buy a drink. Forgot about that one, cuz I don't drink. :D

On the Ruby in May they were all open during the usual hours. On the day that we were to arrive in Juneau they had delicious halibut sandwiches for lunch in Trident.

Open and the pizza was delicious on Coral in June! Even had a special seafood buffet at the grill one day.

Absolutely. Kids will be kids, and adults may want something more "to-go" or casual than making their way through the buffet line.

Yes. Everything is the same. I was on the Emerald to the North Cape of Norway in June and it was very nice. Everything was open. It was quite chilly some days, but they still had everything running as normal. No worries.

the grill and pizzeria are located by one of the main pools (the uncovered one if you're on a ship with a covered pool) and open mid-morning til about 11 at night. The ice cream parlor is usually near one of the entrances of the Horizon Court (at least on the ships I've been on).

 

The hours for each dining venue will be listed in the Patter every day.
