wizard-of-roz Posted August 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2016 I've only been in the Vista Suite onboard the Miracle. For those of you who may have been in Ocean Suite #6327 - How did you like it? The Visa Suite has an amazing wake view and veranda but the cabin itself is so full of hallways and walls dividing the rooms that it gives a more maze effect than it does a suite effect. Please give me your view of the Ocean Suite.
riffatsea Posted August 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Ocean Suites are really large rooms but only 1 room. There is a dressing room area which leads to a normal land size bathroom with a whirlpool tub. We don't like being at the back/aft part of the ship so the "wake view" doesn't interest us and so we enjoy the Ocean Suites.

It's just my daughter and me sharing the space so I hope we get to enjoy the cabin more than we did the Vista Suite, which we found to be a big jumble of hallways, small rooms and walls. jakeT Posted August 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2016 You don't get anything more in an OS. It's size is like a room and 1/2. If you are the type who spends time in your room you will appreciate the exter room. If you only dress ans sleep in your room then and inside room is for you . Then if you are only doing one cruise per year or two or three years. The exter money maybe worth it

I do spend time in my cabin and on my balcony. I think we'll like the extra space. I'm now cruising once a year and I like the experience to be as much fun and relaxation as possible! I don't mind spending the extra money on upgraded accommodations if its worth it! Edited August 24, 2016 by wizard-of-roz
riffatsea Posted August 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2016 The balcony should be longer with a lounger instead of just chairs where you can just sit. We think it is worth the money for the normal bathroom and the priority boarding. We also buy FTTF to have it ready when we board!!

riffatsea Posted August 24, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 24, 2016 I just looked at the deck plan and see that your suite is still at the way back of the ship away from the other suites. I always wonder why folks like being back there but I guess there's something special about it? I look forward to you writing back after your cruise. I look forward to you writing back after your cruise. I actually prefer my cabins in the aft of the ship. I've had them practically everywhere onboard and I find that the rear is just more conducive to a good nights sleep [less turbulence], although I do like the motion of the ship, just not heavy rocking and rolling! garmar73 Posted August 25, 2016 #10 Share Posted August 25, 2016 We have had two Ocean Suites on the Carnival Miracle. We enjoy the extra space the Suite offers and the Suite seems to be furnished better than other cabins on-board. Your daughter will also enjoy the separate "dressing" table which is a part of the Suite. I know my DW certainly does. We have also booked an Ocean Suite on our next CCL cruise in 1/2017. Happy Cruising!

I dont think this is the case for the 2 suites on deck 6 on this class of ship. the balcony is very narrow. and the lounge chair will take up the whole space for the money I would go with 7258 for that balcony. http://www.********************/pictures/14/reg/13740.jpg 6258 is just one big room http://images.r.cruisecritic.com/ships/cabin-categories/74f99db2ab6d54b9d4c8e70665dadcb7.jpg http://www.americandiscountcruises.com/images/carnival_ships/ships/legend/cabins/11-suite.jpg https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4O1l7VJLF0w/maxresdefault.jpg your suite balcony will be similar: https://clmedia.s3.amazonaws.com/thumb/tfss-bcfb8380-0caa-4b80-9857-87fb071d7219-image_800.jpeg
LisaH Posted August 25, 2016 #13 Share Posted August 25, 2016 Our first Carnival cruise was on the Miracle and we were in an Ocean Suite. We will be taking our 4th Carnival cruise in Feb 2017 on the Vista and booked a Havana Cabana so it will be a fun comparison. The Ocean Suite is by our favorite cabin of any ship. I like the layout of the Ocean Suite and I'm hoping we'll get a lot of viewing and resting time on our patio, while in Hawaii. Everyone should have such things to be concerned about, don't you think? riffatsea Posted August 25, 2016 #15 Share Posted August 25, 2016 We had an Ocean Suite last year mid ship ,Deck 6 of the Miracle and it had a lounge chair, 2 normal chairs and a little table. It felt longer than our balcony cabins that we have had previously. Perhaps they are not all the same size??

You couldn't fit a lounge chair, table and chairs on a "normal" balcony.
