chicgotgame Posted September 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2016 I was wondering if it was allowed to wear your robes in the MDR/-Great Outdoors/Buffet in the mornings on NCL? What about Lunch? I know dinner is more formal. Anyone have any information on wearing robes to the Spa?
Leavethekidswithmom Posted September 18, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Sure go for it, I usually skip the robe and just wear underwear and a tank top. [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Are you really thinking of wearing a robe in the Main Dining Room for breakfast? I am a super casual person and even that is too much for me :D:D:D
FreestyleNovice Posted September 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Ontopic: Seen and done robe to and from Spa (but being close by in a Haven Spa suite helped..).

I know dinner is more formal. Anyone have any information on wearing robes to the Spa? Hopefully this is tongue in cheek - but I did once see someone wearing a robe in the buffet one morning  - raised a few eyebrows - I am thinking that they could not wait for room service for their coffee ;). The spa will provide robes so no need to wear them to the spa.

craftygrandma Posted September 18, 2016 #14 Share Posted September 18, 2016 We use the robes to and fro the spa. We do walk thru the buffet to the great outdoors to pick up a snack.

mexico8 Posted September 18, 2016 #16 Share Posted September 18, 2016 I have seen people wear the robes over their bathing suits. When they are sunbathing or using the pools and they are ready for breakfast or lunch they eat in the Lido :eek:at the buffet and wear the robes. Have not seen any in the main dining room (and I hope not to either).
cb at sea Posted September 18, 2016 #17 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Please don't...it's so tacky! Just throw on shorts or bathing suit with cover-up! Please! You aren't going out to pick up your paper off your front lawn...you are in a public place...dress!

kathybelcher2433 Posted September 18, 2016 #20 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Agreed. Let's not shoot for the lowest common denominator or lowest bar. Step it up people. As far walking to the spa in a robe through the buffet...honestly is changing clothes that much of a chore? 3 year olds are capable of doing it unaided. callmehalia Posted September 18, 2016 #21 Share Posted September 18, 2016 (edited) With the cost of luggage on flights, I thought I'd just throw a couple of bathing suits in my purse and wear the bathrobe everywhere. No lugging a bag to the airport, no pile of dirty laundry to get through when I get home. Plus it's such a treat for everyone else to see my form clad in terrycloth.
