Cab fare from Port of Maimi to Ft. Lauderdale airport?

Could anyone tell me what the charge is to get from the port of Miami to the Ft. Lauderdale airport would be?

I don't know the taxi fare, but we hired a limosine service for about $110.00. Based on the number of people, it can turn out to be cheaper, and more convienent.

cab fare will be about 75- one way.

 

We also rented a limo since we wanted the car to be waiting for us AFTER the cruise. We paid 200 round trip fro 6 adults which included the tip.

We took a taxi from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport last year and it ran around $60.00 plus out tip. I see your from Michigan, I wouldn't recommend renting a car unless you are real comfortable with the heavy fast traffic in the area. My dh drives in Detroit and Chicago all the time and was glad he didn't have to try and drive in the mess we were in that day, the cabbie knew exactly what he was doing. And the taxi's are lined up waiting for you when you get off the ship, very easy and fast to get out of there.

Hi,:) remember, most cruiselines offer transfers.

 

I am doing the opposite of ya'll....flying into FLL and sailing from Miami.

I am choosing Celebrity's transfers to get from Point A to Point B.

It is 20.00 and in my opinion that is quite reasonable.

20 is quite reasonable--IF you dont have an early plane to catch.
