Heathrow early morning arrivals

This time lapse video was shot yesterday (4 October 2016) and covers the 0600 to 0730 period.

 

Some people may know that before 0600, only a very limited number of flights can land. Other than for those, Heathrow basically opens for business at 0600. And this is what happens day in, day out, at that time of the morning.

As much as Heathrow can be a pain (especially in the early mornings), it's such a great place to see so many different aircraft types and global airlines in one place. Cool video.

Agree with Zach. If you like spotting heavies and livery, LHR is one of the best places in the world for it! Particularly from the Terrace of the CCR while sipping Grand Siecle :)
