Show times on Liberty of the Seas

We sail out of Galveston on the Liberty of the Seas at the end of October and wonder how our dining time of 8pm will fit with Show Times during the week. Any information gratefully received.

Just got back on LOS from 9/10 cruise.

 

The Saturday Nite Fever show extended a bit past 8PM so if you have an 8pm dinner seating you will have to miss the last fewl minutes of the show - mostly encores and taking bows. Lots of folks had to leave the show at 8 to catch their dinner time. We had My Time Dining, stayed until 8:10 or so and the performers were still on stage as we left.

 

The other shows we attended finished well before 8 pm.

And if you must leave before the show is over, please sit in the balcony or an aisle seat in the back. Be considerate to your fellow passengers and the performers please.

We will be new to RCCL next year but I've read that we will need tickets to the shows. Where do I find out what shows are being offered and reserve our tickets?

If on Liberty as shown, you will only need tickets for the Ice Show which will be available in board and posted in the Cruise Compass.

BTW, Galveston Cruiser, we sailed from Galveston for the first time last month and fell in love with it!. So far, it's our favorite port to sail from which is part of the reason that we booked the Liberty for next year. ;)

We were on the Oct 2 sailing on Liberty and there were no tickets for the ice show. I would check the compass to make sure but they did not give them out for our sailing.

No tickets for any shows on LB. And SNF is usually has two shows, one early and one late. No need to miss dinner. Go to the one that fits with your dinner schedule.

Only show that was crowded when we sailed was Ice show , I would get there 15 mins early for that one

Thank you. We love it too though it is hard not going on a ship every week since we can hear the announcements at our home!

 

We will be bringing the Vision of the Seas to Galveston in November 2017 where she will be sailing 4 & 5 night cruises.

 

There is so much to do on the Island, one has to pace themselves.

Hope you can stay for a longer visit next year.

This is great stuff! We are cruising in December on the Liberty, and have specialty dining and chef's table already planned. This really helps us "guess" at the showtimes to work around.:)

On the 10/9 cruise, no tickets needed for any Ice Show..but you should show up early for seats down in first rows.
