FreestyleNovice Posted January 2, 2017 #101 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Come on, NCL, end the speculation. There are cruises to be booked! We jumped ship, booked a Celebrity Med cruise for 2018.

Well, then, we've sailed together before! We were on the Hamburg to Southampton, too! Fell in love with Escape, but took Anthem of the Seas across the pond on her first TA. :)

Phamer55 Posted January 8, 2017 #108 Share Posted January 8, 2017 Port of Los Angeles has the Bliss listed in October 2018 https://www.portsamerica.com/cruise/los-angeles-terminal-calendar.html Also in May as well...Including May 25 and May 27...So there would be a 2 day sampler cruise to Ensenada before the Alaska repo? Interesting weekender for California folks.
FreestyleNovice Posted January 8, 2017 #109 Share Posted January 8, 2017 Someone wrote this on her public FB timeline, not addressed to anyone or anybody in particular, found it through keyword searching: "June 2nd, 2018 is the Inaugural cruise on the Norwegian Bliss with the Alaskan itinerary, we really want to do this.....BUT, I'm getting really sick of traveling all over God's creation." my3sonsnj Posted January 8, 2017 #110 Share Posted January 8, 2017 I was really hoping there would be a NYC to San Francisco leg on this deployment but I guess that is not looking too good. Is there a problem with accommodating bigger ships in San Francisco? I wish one of the cruise lines would do a Panama Canal itinerary from San Francisco to NYC or vice versa, other than as a leg of a world cruise. I think both those ports could supply enough customers.

Phamer55 Posted January 8, 2017 #112 Share Posted January 8, 2017 No problem hosting large ships in SF, the Queen Mary 2 has visited the port. NCL prefers to stop in LA before repositioning to Seattle. I'd much rather have them use SF too!

Beamco Posted January 10, 2017 #119 Share Posted January 10, 2017 My NCL Agent called me yesterday to tell me the booking date for Latitude members moved up a week to the 10th and that he would be calling me tomorrow to book!
SeahawkSiren Posted January 10, 2017 #120 Share Posted January 10, 2017 Yay! Cannot wait to book the inaugural Seattle to Alaska cruise for June 2018! Cruiser Bruiser Posted January 10, 2017 #121 Share Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) NCL is slowly loading information into the website. Drip. Drip. Two exciting things: 1. the forward observation lounge is back, even for non-Haven pax! First Norwegian ship to have one since Jewel-class; 2. Studios are back on Decks 10, 11, and 12. I like the new, darker designs. No more blonde wood. Oh, and they've confirmed that Bliss will reposition to the Caribbean after after the Alaska season. Ho hum. Let's hope they load more over night. TheDougOut Posted January 10, 2017 #122 Share Posted January 10, 2017 That forward-facing observation lounge looks enticing... I'm holding my breath until a Brew House arrives. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Two Wheels Only Posted January 10, 2017 #123 Share Posted January 10, 2017 Oh, and they've confirmed that Bliss will reposition to the Caribbean after after the Alaska season. Ho hum. It seems like NCL wants to play musical chairs with their big ships so guests will have an excuse to keep doing the same itineraries. Eastern Caribb on Breakaway...check Eastern Caribb on Getaway...check Eastern Caribb on Escape...check Eastern Caribb on Bliss...
LrgPizza Posted January 10, 2017 #124 Share Posted January 10, 2017 That forward-facing observation lounge looks enticing... I'm holding my breath until a Brew House arrives. Which deck is this? Yeah, we need a Brewhouse. With all the windows and such on the ceiling, etc. of The District, the same thing would work great for Alaska.
