dls1277 Posted October 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2016 We have the sip n sail with 1 specialty dining included on our Ruby cruise in a few weeks. When I called Princess for more info they said the voucher would be in our stateroom when we embark with restaurant, date, and time. Also, that we could change date and time if available. Just curious what time and restaurant others received on their voucher when they boarded with this promotion. Thanks

mrswallace2012 Posted October 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Question- we also booked the sip and sail promo in the summer, but we didn't receive a voucher for specialty dining. How did you score this?
eagletwo Posted October 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2016 The Sip n Sale we booked had one night specialty dining if you booked a mini-suite or a full suite. I have read that you can change the night and time you want to dine by calling the Dine Line or go directly to the venue you want to dine at the day you board to make a reservation. OCruisers Posted October 23, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Question- we also booked the sip and sail promo in the summer, but we didn't receive a voucher for specialty dining. How did you score this? It was on a promotion that if you booked the Sip & Sail by a certain date a specialty restaurant would also be included. caribill Posted October 23, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 23, 2016 Just curious what time and restaurant others received on their voucher when they boarded with this promotion. When a large number of passengers have that amenity, the reservations will be spread throughout the cruise and can be for either of the specialty restaurants. TravelingEA Posted October 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 23, 2016 We had the free specialty dining one time. We generally go to the Crown Grill on a formal night. We were assigned the Crown Grille (however, it could be any the of specialty restaurants) and were not happy with the night and were able to change the night that we were assigned. skynight Posted October 23, 2016 #9 Share Posted October 23, 2016 The easiest way to handle this is visit the restaurant of your choice on boarding day, usually after 2pm. Bring your gift card with you. Discuss the day and time you want. It is a little more difficult using the DINE line.
Rocknie Posted October 24, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 24, 2016 We have found this to be another one of Princess' "it depends upon which ship you are sailing".... had no problem changing venue and date aboard Island during our Med cruise... but was told no we couldn't change during our Coral Panama Canal cruise. There seems to be an increase toward "subjective" enforcing of Princess policies. It's very similar to when you call Princess directly with a question... if you don't like the answer call back and talk to a different representative... good chance your likely to get a different answer. I have seen that the rules are enforced differently depending on the ship and crew.
