Good hotel in Baltimore with free shuttle?

Planning on driving down to Baltimore the day before we cruise and was looking for a nice hotel that offers free breakfasts and or shuttle service to the port. Thanks much,

It's a great idea to arrive the day before your cruise! The East Coast Departures forum will have info on Baltimore hotels, you can do a Search there. Your hotel choice can also be one that includes complimentary parking for the duration of your cruise in the rate. This is a very nice hotel with free breakfast, free shuttle to port and you can book really reasonably on trinityreservations.com that includes parking. Have stayed there numerous times and have never been disappointed.

NOT all Best Westerns are created equally....the one on Dorsey might be ok..the one by the container ports SUCKS...BIG TIME...

The one on Dorsey is clean and well appointed. It is not the Ritz but you won't be paying the price of the Ritz. The rooms were recently updated and there is a small frig and maybe a microwave. There is also a nice restaurant/bar in the parking lot if you need a meal.

How important is the "free" shuttle vs. the "nice" hotel? Sometimes a better hotel comes at smaller premium than the cost of a taxi.

This, for the price, is a very good buy. Priceline's express often offers a big room, with king or queen (selection is up to you when reserving), refrigerator, seasonal pool and breakfast for as low as $57 (plus about $14 worth of taxes and fees.

 

The Glen Burnie La Quinta is close to the airport. You can check in beginning at 1 p.m.; checkout is at noon. When you check in, make arrangements for their van to take you to the cruise port.

 

We have often used the Glen Burnie La Quinta and are totally satisfied.
