LIVE from Harmony B2B First 2 US Sailing's

Is it true that we have to put our Sea Pass cards into a slot in the stateroom for the electricity to work?

A few of the earlier Harmony threads said that was new on this Oasis ship.

The Allure didn't require that.

You don't have to use the seapass card, any credit card size will work. For example, if you have a grocery store loyalty card or an old gift card or something of the like, that will work as well. It helps to keep the lights off in your cabin when you are not in there. :)

The Compass is on the Royal IQ. I was going to take screen shots but the app thinks I disembarked so I'm waiting for it to reset.

You might have to set it up again as you did when you first boarded. I believe they dump everything at the end of the cruise.

We also observed the SeaPass cards do not have the deck number in front of the room number so instead of it reading 8423 it just says 423. Servers and attendants always had to ask us what deck we were on. I think I would write on the card with a black sharpie

I actually prefer NOT to have the deck number on the card. Just think, if you lost or misplaced your card and someone picked it up, they would know what room to go to...if they wanted to that is. I don't know why servers or attendants would need to know what deck you are on. If they swipe the card, they would get that information. :)

They don't put the deck number on the card for your security. If you it is taken or lose the card the person that finds it won't know which stateroom it goes to.

I've even used a plain business card at hotels that have this feature.

Some VIP parking his yacht next to the ship.

HappyChippy thanks for the pic. I see my private tender has arrived a few days earlier than expected. You know, just in case we need her next week for off the ship excursions. Feel free to tour her as well today. If TC (classic Magnum PI reference) is there he might just take you for a ride in the chopper. :D:p:D

On a more serious note enjoy the cabin tours.

We are back on board and waiting for rooms to be ready. We kept the original rooms assigned, didn't want to make too much of a fuss. So we are waiting for Escape the Rubicon to open in 15 minutes. Thought I would get a few pictures of the children area.

So we registered for the Escape the Rubicon. Just went to the Rubicon area and they are right there registering. We are going to do a 30 minute tour then the full session.

We stopped into Park Cafe for lunch. It's a bit busy with everyone waiting for their rooms.

I'm back in my cabin to recharge my phone. Sisters and Keara are taking advantage of a free massage at the spa. RCI is giving out pins all over the ship so it turning into a scavenger hunt.

First cabin review today will be my newly assigned cabin inside deck 14.

What time did you get back onboard? Did general boarding start at the same time?

What time were cabins ready?

All these questions because I am on Nov 10 inaugural. We are also staying on for additional 3 weeks and will have to lug alot of luggage around until rooms are ready.

Thank you for the review and also for posting pics of the inside cabins. We have an inside on deck 12 in March near Wonderland. Most people post balcony and suite pictures so it's sometime hard to get a view of the inside cabins.

You're review and pictures are great. Thanks for taking us along.
