Lost $50 in the casino. I think I'm done trying to win big. The casino is very big with half smoking and half non smoking but even the non smoking will have a smoky smell. Plenty of games of the original 3 line slots and computerized slots. I'm not a pro but I found I couldn't "charge" to my room card, I put in cash and then scanned my card and the pin is your birthdate MMDD I could cash out to my card and take that and play other machines. It is a very active casino with lounge bar area.

Sister was out about 5:30am this morning and found that there was glassware everywhere. And sadly near the carousel on the boardwalk there was shattered broken glassware all over the floor, so no one could walk through there to Starbucks until later when it was cleaned up which was about 7am. We find that our room is very clean. It's the cleanest ship I have ever been on. I did visit guest services this morning to see if we could possibly get different cabins that are not so far away on the next sailing. It's not too big of a deal but I knew the second sailing would only be half full so thought we would check. They were very friendly and said they would work on it and let me know.

I love the elevators, they have signs directing you to the correct floor with pictures. And the floor changes to remind you what day of week it is.

Discovered The Attic this would be my good quiet reading spot during the day. Fun room that is used for night comedy shows. We thought the Attic had an Alice in Wonderland feeling with a side of comedy.

I loved your story. Thank you for posting it.

We got off the Harmony. We loved the ship! Enjoy your time onboard.:)

BTW we were on Deck 8 and found it to be the perfect location! We loved using Central Park to pass through from one end of the ship to the other. It was much more pleasant than walking through those long corridors of cabins.

Or the promenade during the $1 an inch gold sale. :D

The movie was great!! They gave tickets to draw prizes. They gave away 6 packs of prizes. At the end of the movie they handed out coloring books. We headed to Mini Bites for lunch as it's a busy day on board.

We had some more freebies in our room along with instructions on where to in the morning for our next cruise check in

Maybe it was because the Transatlantic had so many experienced cruisers (over half were D and above) or maybe it was because the Promenade was wider than other ships, but I noticed a huge difference in crowd size during the "Special Sales" vs other ships we have sailed on. There just was not the jam up of people looking for bargains on our sailing. The only time the Promenade felt crowded to me was during the Halloween party. We didn't go to the parades, but it could have been crowded then, too.

So nice that the OP got the nice inaugural mugs. We got nada for the historic TA crossing or the meeting of the three sisters. The onboard photos of the three sisters was $11.95 and I saw much nicer ones online than the one we paid for. It seems we could have gotten at least a nice picture for free on the 13 night crossing.

Today's a busy day on the ship. I find that there are too many jewelry and sunglasses shops and not enough merchandise shops. The one RCI merchandise shop on boardwalk was way too small and too many people so I might check it out on the next two days. Keara says it needs a concession stand by the theatre and a Candy Store. They found a watermelon chewy gummy candy in Nassau and everyone is begging for more so we might need to head back to the Marina Village on the next trip in Nassau.

We all split up for the afternoon. Sister and Keara are heading to the pool, Christa is hanging out in Solarium and I'm standing in Starbucks waiting for some caffeine. There was a fun parade on the boardwalk. Hope to catch that again.

Decided to check out the Christopher Columbus show. Made reservations through the Royal IQ app just 30 min before the show started, but no one scanned my card and this show was not as full as other shows. I like the rows towards the back on deck 4 behind the lighting/sound director and on deck 5 front. no one wants these seats because of the bar and glass but I find I can easily lean forward to get great pictures. Still no Escape the Rubicon. I think it would be fun for parents to put together a scavenger hunt with all the different artwork throughout the ship. They did a Selfie Scavenger hunt that I didn't attend but that sounded like fun.

Presently live from the Family Science in the Adventure Lab. That activity was Very Popular. Room was too crowded with parents and children. Activity director said it would be about an hour but it only took twenty minutes. It would have been better to maybe divided up to 3 different 20 minute sessions so it could be easier to manage and more enjoyable.

Found out Escape Rubicon will not be open for this sailing but I am told we will get a special invite tomorrow on the 2 night preview cruise.

We are having dinner in Windjammer again. Everyone agrees that we enjoy the dining here better than the main dining room. Tonight was Shrimp night. There is a Gluten Free items and the chef is very accommodating. The dining room has plenty of seating. It's 6:30pm and plenty of tables and great service. Keara has a big appetite for being tiny.

I like the Vroom internet service. I was able to FaceTime home to talk with my husband and kids. Missing them like crazy and already making plans to book again for next year so I can bring them along.

Tonight's show is A Journey in Time ice skating show. I have yet to see the skating rink open for open ice skating during the day which I thought we would be able to do.

Found a very nice waiter from Jamaica who made us some special drinks. Keara got a Shirley Temple that was very cherry and yummy, Sister got a Kahulua with creamed. I got a cherry coke.

Lost $42 in the Casino on the way to studio B for the show. That place is dangerously addictive.

I took Keara to get pictures with Gloria from Madagascar. I sent the Sisters on The Rising Tide Bar because they hadn't tried it yet. I may have forgot to mention that it was "Singles" hour on the Rising Tide Bar. Keara and I are up observing the boardwalk.

Great pictures and commentary! Following this thread! Thank you for sharing your background about your sister, what an amazing story!

BTW, do you know what two nights are the formal nights?

Also, do you have pictures of the menus for each night of the MDR?

Thank you! We'll be on this ship during the Thanksgiving cruise! :D
