davekathy Posted November 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2016 (edited) Can we use mdr for breakfast every mornining or do we need to go to buffet or have breakfast in cabin You certainly can enjoy your breakfast in the MDR every morning. That's our preference. Also on sea days you can have lunch in the MDR if you wish. Edited November 1, 2016 by davekathy

El Crucero Posted November 2, 2016 #10 Share Posted November 2, 2016 MDR is not open on embarkation day for lunch for anything other than Concierge class. We love breakfast in the MDR. It is open to everyone. Wife likes white table cloths and impeccable personal table service and piping out food. Try it, you will like it!
Luvcrusn Posted November 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Sorry to hijack...does anyone know if the MDR is open on embarkation day for lunch? Sandtrap328 Posted November 2, 2016 #19 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Funny story - I went to breakfast in the MDR on a recent X cruise. I am rather picky about my bacon. I asked the waiter for extra crispy bacon along with my over medium eggs. The meal arrived shortly with at least a 1/4 pound of crispy bacon. The waiter obviously intrepreted my request as extra orders of crispy bacon. It did not go to waste!
oneputt18 Posted November 2, 2016 #20 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Just to mention, if dining in the MDR for breakfast allow at least an hour to eat. So if you need to be somewhere, plan accordingly.
