Anyone know what ship this is? I feel like many cruise lines have ships almost identical to this!

EDIT: Did some investigative work. Came from a cruise line called renaissance Cruises that folded after just a couple of years. They were purchased by many different companies, operated by Princess, P&O, Oceania and Azamara (which is owned by RCI) as of now. But was also used by pulmantur, which operates the former sovereign and who operated the Empress for its few years away from royal. interesting!

Looks like Oceania logo. Regards was in PC on Saturday, but that's not it.

My DH and I will be traveling on the Oasis in April and I love your review. We are vacationing this time without children. So if you happen to experience anything that would be helpful for two "honeymooners" that would be great. We love to visit with others, eat great meals, and drink those wonderful special drinks

Good Morning to all,

Today we are heading into Falmouth Jamaica.

Let me recap yesterday. Went and met up with friends in the Diamond Lounge then went to dinner. Had a good dinner. I like the different menus that Oasis has.

Then I went up to my Parents Aqua Theater Suite to catch the Aqua show.

Here are some pics of the Aqua Show.

After the show we went to the Comedy Club and saw Al Romis. He was good but I have seen better.

IMG_5898_zpszyxvwz9e.jpgThen I wondered around got a drink and went to the Love and Marriage Game Show. Once again Drew did not disappoint as it was a great show.

After that I returned to the room and went to bed as I was downloading pics.

We will be sailing on Oasis this coming Sunday. There has been much discussion on CC about the beds and how hard they are. We have a Superior Ocean View Balcony room and I'm curious as to your personal opinion on the comfort of the bed. I did request request a topper and it was acknowledged by RCCL. Any feedback is welcome!

Great review - so excited to be on Oasis!!!

Well with day 1 now done and in the books some good news and bad news from today.

First lets get the bad news out of the way first. In making sure that I had everything packed I missed 2 things. 1 is my sandals that I use onboard mostly. I can live with that.

My second bad news is one that affects this review is that I forgot the cable that connects my camera to my tablet. I will continue to take pics with my camera and do a complete photo review when I return home, unless I come across a cable that can connect to a Cannon Camera.

Now onto the good news. Today went great as expected.

With Oasis docked in PC for the first time was great. However there was a line to get in. I thought that the line moved fine. It took me about 40 minutes from getting into line to getting Sea Pass card. I expected it to take about that long so I was okay with it.

Once onboard I went to the room to unpack. I got the room with the bed near the balcony. I really like this set up the best as I have better access to the closet. I do like the bathroom size and I think the shower is bigger than on Freedom.

Well it was on to giving a tour of Oasis to my parents and my sister. Then it was off to the Muster Drill and for me it was in the Aqua Theater. After that it was finishing the tour and going to Dinner. Had a great dinner. Tonight activity was the show in the Aqua Theater that was unfortunately canceled for this evening to be rescheduled later this week.

I finished the night hiting Dazzle and Blaze.

Well good night till tomorrow

What time did you get to the port? And then what time were you on board?

Thanks

Lovin the live review. Going to be onboard in just a few weeks!!

DW has two questions about breakfast items - if you happen to swing by the buffet in the morning...

Do they have little boxes of All-Bran cereal?

Do they have non-fat greek yogurt?

I realize these are very specific items - but if you happen to see them them she'd love to know. Thanks!!

They do have the little boxes of All-Bran. They have non-fat yogourt but I don't think it is greek style, at least the one I tried.

I will do my best to take pics of the compasses as typically I don't because they can be totally different from cruise to cruise.

I do plan on posting a lot of pics as well.

Sorry to be a pain, but if you can post pictures of the compasses then that would be awesome.

Thanks a lot.
