We will miss her! Loved having our favorite ship in Port Canaveral. Looking forward to welcoming Oasis, but we will go down to Fort Lauderdale for a trip on Freedom next year.

I remember seeing her on her maiden voyage in 2006. She has sailed the Caribbean from Florida since she was launched, hate to see her leave us for Europe next year. She will be missed!

I "kidnapped" my DH a few years ago and took him on his first ever cruise vacation (something he swore he would never do) to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We were on FOS sailing out of Port Canaveral and he had blast. Every ship and sailing since then has had to live up to the experience in one way or another. We can't wait to step back on board in Feb 2017 in her new Port Everglades home.

She is cruising out of Port Canaveral on her way to Port Everglades. Will miss her.

Me too. I know many are very excited about Oasis coming here, and we already

have two cruises booked aboard...but it is a hard price to pay losing Freedom. :(

Will miss her dearly also.

We also very much miss the sweet Enchantment being home ported here in PC.

Majesty not a good trade off.

Freedom is the lead ship of the Freedom Class

Remember when she first came out John? She was originally home ported

in Ft. Lauderdale. My sister, Bucky and I went down there to cruise on board

for my sister's 50th birthday. Big news coverage of the biggest cruise ship

in the world!

Was excited when they later home ported her here in Port Canaveral. She

sure has been here the longest time, and was really her home!

We actually sailed Mariner out of PC before Freedom.

So did Bucky and I!

Mariner was actually our very first RCI cruise. Was my "half century " birthday

present with a GS. Got us spoiled right away! ;) And was happy we joined

C&A right away starting with that cruise. :D

Mariner was kind of our first Royal. I don't like to count Empress 6 years earlier. It was not impressive.

Laura did a B3B and I met her for the last leg. Pretty much all Royal since then.

Mmm...not impressive when it was newer...wonder what Empress is like now?

We enjoyed our cruises on Monarch (though it was the crew, not the ship

we loved), but now we are not interested in Majesty or Empress. We like the

smaller ships, but would miss the CL/DL and the extra features of at least a

Vision class. 3/4 night cruises are just too short for us anyway.

We have been loyal to Royal for years now. Strayed once since Mariner, but

just to do HAL Alaska Oosterdam. Now that was a ship we did not like at all.

Not kept up, not impressed. Went back to Royal and stayed. We would

really like to do Celebrity, but it is just not as convenient....right now anyway.
