Oceania Cruises to Homeport in New York Summer 2017 and 2018

If only they'd be heading back to Iceland ...

or will they? I'll have to check!

We've done Canada a lot, both on cruises and in the car so I'm not enticed to the "usual" itinerary.

But I'm glad one of the Oceania ships will be "summering" here in the City.

I didn't see a cruise to Iceland from NY in the 2018 catalog. Actually didn't see Iceland at all on it, but might have missed it.

I did miss it, Jul 30 2108 on Nautica 20 days. It is London -London.

Orv, I think that the OP indicated that Insignia was coming FROM Iceland to start the North America sailings in the summers of 2017 and 2018. At least that's what I recall without checking the post.

I was just saying that I'd prefer sailing to Iceland rather than sticking in N.A. Not that I am likely to get my wish!

I did get the email today on the Miami to Iceland trip this summer.

I also got the preview for the 2018 cruises. Did anyone else get it?

Yes - we got the Miami to Iceland cruise but not the 2018 preview.

Can you post it?

Our TA sent us the link to the summer previews.

I love the itinerary for the July 2017 Iceland-NYC cruise but unfortunately it's too sold out for us, plus the timing isn't perfect. I'll keep on hunting for a 2018 departure.

Looking to reserve this sailing. How is the Atlantic this time of year. i.e partner suffers from motion sickness :(

I have been on two TAs during this time. Once a hurricane went north in the Atlantic and we had 15+ foot waves and my friend with me was very ill. Then I went 2 years ago and we did stop at Iceland and it was one of the smoothest sailings I have ever had. So it is just luck on what you get. Julia

In another thread Jan posted they are open for bookings Nov 16th

Thankyou,

I confirmed with an Oceania rep in aus they are releasing the itineries this afternoon/ miami morning. However pricing will not be released until Nov16 when they are bookable. Good thing I can now review the US pricing to give me an idea. Thankyou!
