Can we cancel and get a refund of deposit?

We have booked and paid the full deposit for a cruise on the Vision of the Seas next Fall. We are a long way away from final payment date. I should be able to cancel and get our deposit back in full, right? Does it take long to get your money back?

Yes, as long as you cancel your cruise prior to final payment you will refunded your full deposit.

Depends on the country you have booked in. For the US the answer is yes. In the UK the answer is no.

It also may depend on how you booked. If you booked with RC directly, yes; but if you booked through a TA they may charge you a fee or percentage for canceling.

I've cancelled a cruise booked from New Zealand (via the Australian website) and received a full refund. The refund conditions were clearly displayed and the amount back varied based on the length of time to go. It took less than two weeks to see my money.
