Yes, I think so .... Emerald carries 3120 pax,Golden 2758 pax . The new Princess ships carry around 3,600 pax.

Sun Dawn and Sea are around 2,000

I thought the Diamond, Emerald and Golden were all sisters but have differing pax capacities. I believe the Diamond is largest in gross tonnage with less pax than the Emerald, with the Golden smaller on both counts.

Funny, years ago ships of a class were the same, same tonnage, same capacity, same length, same beam, not sure how they say ships are of X class with so much variation.

Funny, years ago ships of a class were the same, same tonnage, same capacity, same length, same beam, not sure how they say ships are of X class with so much variation.

 

They started out with the same ship design but then some get additional cabins others get additional features etc.

They are in the Bay of Islands today...unfortunately it looks like a washout from both the bridge and the port cams.:mad:

That is a shame for them, when the sun is out, Bay of Islands is an awesome place to visit even with Dolphins in the harbour.
