Live from Navigator - 12/9/2016 - Ship Goes A.B.C...Drink Count Goes 1.2.3...

I'm interested in hearing about the location. Is it held in the Jammer?

I did the Chef's Table the last time I was on the Nav and yes, it was in the jammer but they did a nice job of trying to make it private. In fact they had 2 of them. Glad I made the first one. There was 15 of us. I counted the seating for the second one and there were 57! Not sure how they ended up putting the screens to wall it off from the foot traffic.

I was on the Nav in April and was to get another block. I never could find him and he did not show up in either of the Lounges. Nadja was on vacay and her replacement was about as good as the LA. I never got my block while on the ship. I had to contact C&A when I got home and they sent it to me.

Laura did get her block from the Captain, which was nice, but no box for it.

So my day started nice and early with a Periscope...can you believe it? I was able to get enough internet speed to scope sail in to Curaçao this morning.

After that I showered and headed up to meet the group in the Windjammer for breakfast at 8:30 AM. Once again, I visited the omelet station to place my usual order...egg white omelette with spinach and mushroom. Less than five minutes later...presto.

We walked off the ship a little after 9:30 AM to meet up with our tour guide, Lika, with Irie Tours.

We had reserved an independent 6 hour tour, which would include stops at Shete Boka Park, Playa Forti, Playa Kenepi Grande, Playa PortoMari and a short visit to see Flamingos.

Our meeting spot was just outside the Rif Fort about a ten minute walk from the ship.

Once in the van we headed to the west end of the island to our first stop Shete Boka Park (about a 40 minute drive). The historical narration we received during the lengthy ride I found to be quite interesting and not a snooze fest that can usually been experienced on these types of excursions.

The views at Shete Boka were truly amazing with the large waves breaking over the volcanic rock and made for some great photo opportunities.

After about 30 minutes of picture taking (this nerd may have upset the rest of the van by taking some extra time with an action tripod in hand), we loaded up and made our way to Playa Forti.

This was my favorite stop...not because of any type of extreme beauty or historical significance, but because of the 40 foot cliff jump of course!

This was a very short stop as only Luciano and I were jumping. So again we loaded back into the van and made a quick 10 minute ride over to Playa Kenepe for our first beach break. We would spend an hour here snorkeling and relaxing in the very warm crystal clear waters.

Rick, I've been meaning to ask. If you used to be GatorWop, who is GatorWop now. Very strange.

The moniker is still mine and occasionally when I go into Cruise Critic through a subscription email notification it logs me in as such. We are one in the same...perhaps with different personalities, but physically the same individual.

You beat me to it!!!! I have the exact same suit and I am planning on wearing it on the Navigator when I sail her next Christmas! The kids and the parents at the school where I teach loved it when I wore it to the school Christmas concert last week. Love that suit!:D

Cruise Critic Administrators, Is there a way to block certain individuals from reading or responding to your threads? Thank you in advance.

Don't even joke like that. I think JohnGaltny received an admin warning one time when something like this happened.

After being dropped off around 3:30 PM, we proceeded to walk around Willemstad and the floating bridge before heading back to the ship.

When you see his name cover your eyes with Fritos. Problem solved. :D

Naughty, naughty..................

Better watch out, better not post about Fritos

Just because Fritos can leave you a bad taste in your mouth because they look like someones toe nail in a gym..........

Your post made my day.

Would not have gotten it had I not read the other thread

Thanks for the chuckle.

Safe travels.
