Can't decide whether to settle onboard account with cash or link seapass card to debit card.....if I use cash do I deposit into account at beginning of cruise? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks

You might ask the Royal experts over on the Royal board how they recommend doing it. But you should NEVER use your debit card as your credit source unless you have a very large balance in the bank, as the ship will put temporary holds on it which decreases the amount you have to pay bills. Those holds may not drop off for a week or more after you return. EM

Do you have a credit card? Even just getting one with a lower limit for this cruise, you can put that against your on board account and then settle in cash on the last evening.

 

I agree - do not use a debit card.

RCI allows you to "charge" $500 without ANYTHING down....when you hit that amount, you must go and put $500 on your account.....repeat as needed.

Better way if you don't have a credit card. You are planning to pay in cash anyway.
