easyboy Posted January 25, 2017 #480 Share Posted January 25, 2017 It's not unusual to see some large crabs hiding there from the strong current . I would have loved to invite this one to the Crab Shack for a free dinner ! Will be waiting at the Crab Shack.

Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted January 25, 2017 Author #483 Share Posted January 25, 2017 After our dive I took a pano photo of the beach in this area There's a restaurant that we have wanted to try near the port and after placing our orders I crossed the street here to an elevated viewing area where you see the stairs on the left . How many ships are in this photo ? We were mainly interested in the Rhapsody in the foreground . This was the RCI ship that we cruised to , and around Hawaii on , in 2001 . Lunch is served ! Crab quesadilla and coconut shrimp .
upwarduk Posted January 25, 2017 #484 Share Posted January 25, 2017 3 cruise ships + a small boat in the foreground. BTW we booked our first Princess cruise on Sunday. The price was right & Eclipse no longer goes to the Mediterranean from Southampton. Hopefully we will get some sun, warmer than home anyway! We hope that you have a great experience on the Crown . We haven't been on the Crown but it seems to be a younger sister to the CB and with the Mediterranean you have a chance to use some sunglasses  I cropped the photo to help anybody with older eyes ( like Pat and I ) see the lineup . Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted January 25, 2017 Author #489 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Back at the pier we had a look at our cubby hole and a glimpse at the new neighbors . After boarding Patty volunteered to do the laundry and shower while I did a once around the promenade with the Sony . The solar powered clothes dryer . Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted January 25, 2017 Author #490 Share Posted January 25, 2017 I count 5 of them. 2 RCL. One HAL. One Princess and a Carnival. You are right Tony ! The Rhapsody and Brilliance of the Seas , HAL Nieuw Amsterdam , The CB and The Carnival Freedom . Unfortunately we are out of Princess chocolates and Mic needed the wetsuit shampoo . diverward Posted January 26, 2017 #491 Share Posted January 26, 2017 When using wetsuits, there are two types of people. The ones that say they never do it and the type that does it and never said a word about it. I have the soap as well and it has been well used. I will wait for your chocolates. Have a great evening. Good job on the ships, I counted four as I couldn't see the carnival funnel. BTW, choccies are in the mail, they may not arrive as it is another 30+ day here and they are likely a puddle by now.:p
Rare perfect match Posted January 26, 2017 #494 Share Posted January 26, 2017 I have been looking for a good picture of the aft cabins on the CB so I could get a good look at the balcony for C752, our home for our Panama Canal cruise. That picture showing your cabin did the trick! We have been debating an upgrade to a mini suite for the extra space in the room, but we really love our aft balconies. Even though we had somewhat of an aft view from our Boardwalk balcony on Oasis, it just wasn't quite the same to us. I guess making that decision is a nice problem to have. :D

diverward Posted January 26, 2017 #500 Share Posted January 26, 2017 No need to wait , I found some . Please share ! Thank you for the chocolates. I will enjoy them. As for counting the ships. The two funnels on HAL did not throw me off. And at first I did not see the one funnel on Carnival but I did see the whole front end of the ship. And I knew that the only the Regal and the Royal have short front ends like that so it must have been another ship and not the front end of the Caribbean Princess. But after counting I finally did see the unique funnel of the Carnival ship. I actually was on the Carnival Freedom doing a 16 day transatlantic a few years back. Have a great day. Looking forward to more pictures.
