Yep, no more meetings or waiting for someone to interrupt me from important CC stuff. ;)

I've got to wait for medicare. For some strange reason, my $2500 reduction in healthcare premium has not kicked in yet.

Hey, now, don't kick the guy while he's got 3 weeks left in office.

Biker, who could retire any day but would die of boredom without a job.

I am actually keeping just as busy in retirement as I was before. But

now it is "fun stuff" that keeps me busy. When I am not cruising, or flying

to parts unknown having to burn up time share weeks...(wish I never bought

those!) and the bulk of our travel in the "land yacht", I am researching for future

travel plans. Then there is this addiction to CC that keeps me busy...;)

No moss growing around here that I can find.

Aww...come on in Biker...the retirement water is fine! :D

Look at John...as soon as he retires he moves onto the Oasis

as a new home. ;)

There's also the issue that I love my current job. I will be going kicking and screaming into forced retirement in about 6 years - well, at least that's the plan for now.

Even with the current job I have plenty of time for CC and cruising - it's nice to have 6 weeks (or more if I wanted) of leave a year.

Very nice! The DH ended up with 10 weeks a year. He kept those lined up

at the end, once the new year hit....retired...with an extra 10 week pay check. :D

I loved my second to last job (restaurant wine distributor rep..unlimited samples ;))

but the distributor closed down when the kids did not want the business. My last

career move, was very high stress (very good $$....but heart attack on the horizon),

and am happy to be done with it.
