Rare chrismch Posted January 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2017 The last port on our cruise is Key West. Will they do customs review on the ship there before anyone goes to shore? What is the latest we'd be able stay on the ship on debarkation day in Miami?
Rare ronrick1943 Posted January 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2017 One would think since KeyWest was your first port into the US, Miami would be easy-just off the ship.
Rare Waynetor Posted January 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2017 We had this situation on last years world cruise. In Key West there was a quick immigration for all passengers. In Miami everyone went through customs.

m1k2s3 Posted January 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) If I'm not mistaken, on our Caribbean cruise last year on the Riveria, the immigration officers came on board at Key West. We did a quick check with them in the Horizon's Lounge. Then when we disembarked in Miami we handed in our customs form Sent from my iPad using Forums Edited January 13, 2017 by m1k2s3

A person-to-person check is required. One might be required to attend earlier in the morning than one would hope on the final day of the vacation. Had a frustrating disembarkation in Miami and loooong wait to present ourselves thanks to the officials very late arrival.

They won't force you off of the ship itself, but you and all of your posessions need to be out of your stateroom by 9AM at the very latest.
