I've found it!!

For whatever reason, of late I have difficulty falling asleep at night. Just now, I've opened the webcam to the Key West site and there is the most beautiful sound of slow waves breaking. Tonight, if I can't sleep I might just bring up that cam again.

 

Oh, and Oosterdam is still in port, silhouetted against a yellow, cloudy sunset sky.

That is a great way to fall asleep -- listening to the waves.

Sadly my computer would probably go to sleep before I do.

YouTube has all kinds of videos with sleep sounds...rain, storms, birds singing, streams, fountains, jet engines, and for fans of Star Trek the sound of a warp drive engine. I sleep most nights with the sound of rain or waterfalls.

I've used melatonin with great success. I take a 3 mg tablet before bedtime. I do a little reading and my eyes are closing.

DW has an app on her Android phone called 'White Noise Free'. It has sounds of the ocean and rain amongst others. There is one that is the sound of rain on a car roof - we laugh and think of years ago when the car was the only place we had to go! ;)
