Port of Miami Parking 2017

I am looking for recommendations on parking at or near the port - recommendation please - has anyone used this please before?

Offsite parking in Downtown Miami is marginal, but this location is the absolute pits. In the epicenter of Cracktown. A 20+ minute shuttle ride away assuming they have not oversold the shuttle--which is common to all offsite parking in Miami.

 

If you want your car in a secure lot that is complete locked down every night, where you don't have to leave your keys and can hop right in and head home after disembarkation you have to find it in your budget to pay the $20/day to park at the port.

Terrible location, I wouldn't leave my car there. Also, I wouldn't leave my car keys with some random place.

 

Port parking is $20 a day, not too bad for a large city. It's safe, secure and easy to use. That's always my recommendation.

i would not park off site.

 

I would only park at the Port of Miami.

 

Many other areas are unsafe or have issues that have been reported here.

Some of the MIA area hotels offering parking deals are in much nicer/safer areas - check out hotels in the Blue Lagoon area near the MIA airport (and plan on about a $30 cab ride to get back to your car from POM).

Downtown Miami is a business area.

The parking there, (close to the port) is geared toward 9-5 parking for those business, plus the occasional evening events.

This is not even close to the port; it is at least a 20 minute+ drive. I drive right by there to and from work to bypass 95 in rush hour. No way would I leave my car there. Park at the port.

You cannot reserve parking at Port Miami. Arrive after 10:30 am and there will be plenty of parking.
