Colo Cruiser Posted January 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Noon would be good. I think ours was 1:30. We always use a car service to/from Red Hook.

Mary Ann 2 Posted January 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Noon would be good. I think ours was 1:30. We always use a car service to/from Red Hook. Can you share what car service that might be? And if we don't sail into Red Hook, would they still come to other port? I'm not sure yet what port we sail into in July, but I don't think it was Red Hook last time we cruised into NYC.

satxdiver Posted January 26, 2017 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2017 In 2015 we were scheduled to arrive in Brooklyn. Two days before we were to arrive we were notified by the ship that we would be going into NJ instead. Luckily our flight out of LGA was for later in the afternoon. Just a warning for anyone arriving into the NYC area by ship.

tailspintom Posted January 27, 2017 #10 Share Posted January 27, 2017 What is the earliest time to schedule a flight out of LGA after a cruise? I am thinking 12:00? Potstech, I see you are from Richmond. Have you considered Amtrak? They have a goodly number of trains to Richmond. ... just a thought.
Potstech Posted January 27, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) Yes we have but it is a 6.5 hour trip. Due to circumstances beyond our control we had to reconsider our options. Cruise is not until Oct so we have plenty of planning time. But thanks for the heads up. Edited January 27, 2017 by Potstech
DrivesLikeMario Posted January 28, 2017 #12 Share Posted January 28, 2017 I agree about Dial7. We've used them and they've been great. Love being able to book the transfers online. Makes it so much easier. Just remember that LGA is under construction and may cause delays getting into/out of the airport.
