Cruise Sydney to Bali March

Is this a bad time to cruise Sydney to Bali. Is this the Cyclone season ??

It's at the end of the wet season. It could be wet and cyclones up north. We were on a top end cruise in March and were pretty lucky but a major storm swept through FNQ the next week.

The cyclone they had just this week in the Gulf of Carpentaria has now been down graded but that is nature and the possibility of a storm is always present.

Just got home from Top End cruise on Radiance OTS. Missed the Gulf cyclone completely, cruised right by to the north of it. Good weather all the way except for a few minutes of rain one day. Just happened to be at lunch time during a pool side BBQ! :evilsmile:

We just got back last Friday from 14 night cruise to PNG and the weather was brilliant and the seas were very kind.

Last year in March we did Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga when Cyclone Winston was around but we were in luck and it went all around us.

I know last year some of the ships were missing Bali because of the weather but don't remember what month it was. Is this where you disembark?
