"Ultimate Balcony Dining" for 4

Very interested in the ultimate balcony dining experience.

 

Can the balconies even hold four? Do you pay per person? Maybe we're better off sending the kids off to the buffet and enjoying a romantic evening.

Balconies on Regal are small. Very small. No way will you be able to fit 4 people for UBD. Not on the balcony anyway.

Yes 4 would be very tight on that Regal balcony. :(

What about on the Coral/Vista Suite? It will be my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary and this might be a nice thing to do for them. However, we will be going to Alaska from Vancouver in mid-June so not sure about the weather....

Regal balcony is way too small for 4 people. Maybe just the two of you and the kids can go to kids club etc.

 

On the Coral in the suite, YES. They would have plenty of room and really enjoy it. We did this on the Pacific Princess the end of May in Skagway and it was awesome that time of year. I think June would be fine.

It would work on the Coral in a Vista suite. We have sailed in D631, and it would not have been a problem as far as room on the balcony. In that case, this suite has a fully covered balcony which would be beneficial if the weather was, less than optimal. Worse case, with a suite of that size, you could bring it indoors if needed.

Thanks for the replies, we will definitely consider it. Also I forgot we are on the Dolphin deck with a covered balcony.
