Thanks for all of your pre-cruise adventure reporting, it was very entertaining! We are looking forward to some ship entertainment now!

 

Oh, and you've convinced me that have to check out Gilbert's next time!

 

 

It's worth it.

 

As a local, we love Gilbert's, but it's so busy this time of year. The whole 17th Street area is crazy right now. We did the math last winter, and on any given weekend there could be 60,000 cruisers passing thru!

 

We'll be taking our boat down to the port this afternoon to watch sailaway, so look for a 22 foot Aquasport, with an aqua bimini,singing "Everybody Dance Now" as you leave.

Enjoyed meeting you and the family! We are opting for pool from now until ??? and watching sailaways for our beach time today. Have fun, pool/ flowride nonstop, and look for us as you sail from port. I'll be the one in the pink cap....Phil's is white. We should be easy to spot. Bon Voyage!

Waiting the last 20-30 minutes before you leave for port can be the hardest part. Getting photos from home helps to make the time fly.

RC Star Class, not impressed so far and we just reached the pre-boarding area. The door agent was confrontational and down right rude, this coming from Canadians. The number we were to call before we arrived wasn't even reachable.

 

Lisa is hot under the collar. Not a good start at all.

I forgot a funny store from yesterday. Lisa and I were getting ready in the morning and Owen and Grandma were in their bathroom getting ready too. We could hear them talking, but not everything.

 

Owen: What time do you think it is?

Gram: I don't know, almost eight.

Owen responds: It's fart time.

 

It is silent for a few seconds, until he enters the hallway and falls to his knees laughing. He may have fired the first volley but Grandma had the last laugh. It guess it was fart time.
