SLYScorpions Posted March 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Does anyone know of a good magnification travel mirror? I need a strong magnification to apply make up these days, and see stray hairs :o and I am looking for one that is light enough for travel. Thanks for any advice. awhfy Posted March 10, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2017 I bought a small 30x magnifying mirror at Bed, Bath & Beyond. I've also seen them at Target Sent from my iPad using Forums
cassie cruiser Posted March 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2017 I have one from Ulta that I bought years ago. I keep it in the original bubble wrap and box that it came in and it has survived many miles of travel. It's similar to this one -- http://www.ulta.com/black-diamond-cut-10x-mirror?productId=xlsImpprod4320075
SadieN Posted March 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2017 Do you want a lighted or unlighted travel mirror?
SLYScorpions Posted March 12, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Do you want a lighted or unlighted travel mirror? I really need a lighted one, with a large magnification factor.
Hoyaheel Posted March 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2017 I have a small one with suction cups I travel with occasionally (it's about 4"). Unlighted mirrors are easy to find - TJ Maxx, Ulta, I guess BB&B though I don't shop there, and of course, amazon. Lighted + lightweight for travel seems mutually exclusive, but Amazon has some options - some compact size. https://www.amazon.com/Lighted-Magnifying-Magnifies-Folding-Cosmetic/dp/B0171GC648/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1489329641&sr=8-3&keywords=lighted%2Btravel%2Bmirror&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/Floxite-Lighted-Travel-Magnifying-Mirror/dp/B0013KY6QA/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1489329641&sr=8-4&keywords=lighted%2Btravel%2Bmirror&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/Lighted-SKM-Portable-Luminous-Cosmetic/dp/B01NBIYJUK/ref=sr_1_10_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1489329641&sr=8-10&keywords=lighted%2Btravel%2Bmirror&th=1 And so on. Just search "lighted travel mirror" on Amazon ;-)

Just search "lighted travel mirror" on Amazon ;-) I have the second mirror of the three links listed above. I had tried several other options but this is the best I've found. It's large enough to be really useful, but very thin when folded so it doesn't take a lot of space. And I find the magnification to be very strong. CutieKakes Posted March 12, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 12, 2017 I also got one from BBB, it's 10X, has a suction cup for a mirror or window. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/zadro-10x-cordless-led-lighted-wall-mount-mirror/1042744894?skuId=42744894 I really like it - but everyone is different. I use it for plucking my eyebrows - so it's a great size, great magnification for me. The mirror comes off the suction base. It's easy to pack. I never purchase anything at BBB without using one of their coupons - so make sure to do that! :) It is lighted, but I typically use it with natural light, so I stick it on a mirror or window. Moon Orchid Posted March 13, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 13, 2017 I have this mirror for almost 2 years and it works great http://upperwestco.com/adjustable-led-makeupbathroom-mirror/
JKerstinJ Posted March 24, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 24, 2017 I purchased this one and have been using it for about 3 years. It works well. https://www.magellans.com/itemdy00.aspx?ID=119,3688&T1=MD5452 I also have a smaller one without lights, but I tend to use this more. Without it, I would probably poke my eyes out and look like a lopsided clown. The eyesight isn't what it used to be. collegegirl92 Posted April 3, 2017 #12 Share Posted April 3, 2017 My first bet would be to look at TJ Maxx or Target or I would look on Amazon.
